Travel (#reverb10)

While I still need to catch up on the prompts for December 17-21, today’s prompt was too good not to start with. Travel is one of my favorite things to do.

In 2010, a lot of my travel was work-related, although I managed to squeeze in some fun also. I went to some new places as well as some old favorites. My favorite trip was to Door County, Wisconsin in July for vacation. As I’ve noted in a previous post, this was a place I’d been wanting to visit for quite a while, so it was nice to finally get there. And it truly is just a gorgeous place. I hope to return many times. In 2011, I’ve got trips planned to Los Angeles in January (looking forward to some sunshine, the Paramount studio tour, and the Getty), to New Orleans in February and to St. Louis in May. Those are all work-related, but I’ll manage to squeeze in some fun as well. For our vacation, I’d like to return to Door County or head west to see Yellowstone and visit friends in Idaho (that’s a LONG drive, however!).

Below is a list of 2010 trips with dates and pictures when I’ve got them.

Note: This is my response to the #reverb10 prompt for December 22. #reverb10 is  an annual event and online initiative to reflect on your year and manifest what’s next. Each day has a prompt. Today’s prompt is: “Travel. How did you travel in 2010? How and/or where would you like to travel next year?”
