Action (#reverb10)

Finally! Today’s #reverb10 prompt did not make me gag, but it did make me think (which is precisely the point, no?). While thinking, I wanted over to Twitter to peruse the #reverb10 hashtag to see what others were writing about. And lo and behold, I found the following tweet:

Do you over estimate what you can accomplish during winter break & then feel guilty in Jan? This workbook could help: http://bit.ly/e5Pw9b

Why yes, I do indeed make ridiculously long to-do lists for the winter break (not to mention summer) and then feel bad when I don’t get “enough” done over the break. So, my next action step will be to complete The Great Winter Break Workbook. Hopefully that will allow me to get done (final book edits, book index, course prep, and article. Yes, I know that’s a long list. We’ll see how the workbook helps me figure that out) what I need to get done over the break and stop worrying about the rest. Download your copy here. And thank you to Natalie M. Houston for perfect timing!

Note: This is my thirteenth post for #reverb10, an annual event and online initiative to reflect on your year and manifest what’s next. Each day has a prompt. Today’s prompt is “Action. When it comes to aspirations, its not about ideas. It’s about making ideas happen. What’s your next step?”
